About the position
The Project Specialist for Construction at Starbucks is responsible for overseeing the development and coordination of approximately 20 new and renovation projects annually within the South Central Region. This role involves close collaboration with a Project Manager to ensure that all projects align with Starbucks' standards and business objectives. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office work three days a week in Plano, TX.
Responsibilities
Ā Plan and manage construction processes and practices to align with company goals.

Ā Collect vendor quotes and process purchase and warehouse orders.

Ā Communicate and distribute project-related information to vendors and internal partners.

Ā Generate general contractor paperwork and compile contract packages.

Ā Track general contractor payments and resolve shipping issues.

Ā Facilitate the closeout of project paperwork within target timelines.
Requirements
Ā Construction experience in a restaurant or retail environment.

Ā Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
,
Ā High School diploma or GED or 4+ years of US military experience; Bachelor's degree preferred in facility or construction management, architecture, or business-related field.

Ā Experience using project or construction management software.
