As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the planning, execution, and closure of projects in alignment with the strategic plans of the business. Your responsibilities will encompass project management, documentation, risk evaluation, financial tracking, and reporting, all while adhering to PMO best practices. This role includes managing medium to high-priority programs and cultivating complex business relationships.
Key Accountabilities:

Project Management & Delivery: Manage all aspects of the product development plan, including activity planning, budget management, schedule adherence, resource allocation, and milestone tracking to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.
Project Management Tools & Data Accuracy: Actively maintain internal project management tools (e.g., SmartSheet), ensuring accuracy in scheduling, risk assessment, and data integrity. Regularly update and track progress using standardized dashboard reporting.
Stakeholder Communication & Leadership: Act as the key internal contact for projects, fostering strong cross-functional relationships. Facilitate regular project updates and provide leadership to resolve issues and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Contribute to integrated project teams across the matrixed organization, collaborating with departments such as clinical operations, regulatory, and manufacturing to achieve project goals.
Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks. Quantify cost and schedule impacts and ensure proper submission to the change management process to maintain project integrity.
Schedule Management & Reporting: Develop, maintain, and report all project schedule information, ensuring transparency and adherence across all levels of the organization. Implement corrective actions when necessary.
Cross-Functional Reporting & Data Traceability: Manage cross-functional reporting relationships to ensure traceability of project data and alignment with other systems in the organization. Ensure consistency and accessibility of data for key stakeholders.
Leadership & Collaboration: Collaborate with department leadership to ensure KPIs are met. Lead and manage complex programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, while navigating multi-faceted challenges.

Position Requirements:

Postgraduate qualifications (Bachelor’s or above) or equivalent years of experience in pharma
Minimum 4+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience including for products in preclinical and clinical development (Phase 1)
Minimum 2+ years of project and financial management experience including financial forecasting
Moderate level of project management execution experience with multiple projects.
Experience leading sub-teams, managing and coordinating multiple tasks and functional areas.
Expertise in at least at least two pharmaceutical drug development functions (clinical, manufacturing development, regulatory, or non-clinical development).
Experience working as part of a cross-functional team
Experience maintaining project management software solutions and project management tools
SmartSheet experience preferred
