Job SummaryUnder direction, oversees large and complex, integrated program(s)/ projects. Implements work scope, provides program/project planning, budget, and administration, and develops related operational policies and procedures. This role will primarily focus on, planning, development, testing, and implementation of solutions to gain operational efficiencies and effectiveness within the Stericycle Compliance Solutions business unit. Key knowledge areas include; sales strategy, phone system/call routing/productivity enhancement, comp plans, value delivery, and training. Individual is expected to work independently with limited guidance and understand how and when to escalate issues, risks, etc.II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Project PlanningLeads the coordination with Stericycle business sponsors to define the requirements and scope for global strategic projectsIdentifies resources needed for project teamsSchedules tasks, deadlines, and key milestones. Looks for ways to mitigate resource constraints and other risks, associated with the timelineEstablishes best practices for managing projectsLeads project assignments with limited direction and has the autonomy to make decisions and recommendations in accordance to policy, procedures, standards, and guidelinesLeads all project deliverables and resources, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budgetProject ExecutionWorks with resources to execute on global projects/ business initiatesManages the project lifecycle including requirements, development, testing, and launch.Direct accountability for project deliveryMust implement effective and efficient business solutions, perform management and oversight of complex projects, and provide ongoing strategic direction to project teamsProject ReportingLeads business-process analysis and process-improvement activities when business analyst resources are not availableMeets with business sponsors on a regular basis to communicate project progress and discuss issuesResolves issues with the appropriate level of management.Effectively manages “scope creep” by building consensus about the necessity to change the original project planDevelops FAQ’s and/or documentation to transition knowledge to system administration support staffPerforms research; produces and/or markets project(s) and/or product(s)Opportunity to contribute to evolution of PM practices and potential business practicesEnsures that programs and projects are designed to support and implement company goals and strategic objectivesPerform other duties and responsibilities, as assignedIII. Qualifications A. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree an emphasis in business or communication or the equivalent in related work experience7 years of Sales and/or Marketing experience in a service-oriented industry, including three or more years of project management experienceB. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
