Job: Project Manager
Location: 100% remote from anywhere in the US
Duration: multi-year contract position
Job Description:
The Project Manager is a critical role responsible for overseeing the successful execution of complex CCTV and access control installation projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of security systems and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Project Management:
ā¢ * Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines.
ā¢ Track project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
ā¢ Proactively address challenges and implement solutions.
ā¢ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
ā¢ Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
ā¢ Technical Expertise:
ā¢ * Possess a strong understanding of physical security systems, including access control and CCTV components.
ā¢ Review and approve design packages, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client requirements.
ā¢ Coordinate with design teams to develop accurate and detailed design documentation.
ā¢ Oversee the selection and procurement of appropriate equipment and materials.
ā¢ Client Relationship Management:
ā¢ * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
ā¢ Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
ā¢ Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues.
ā¢ Team Leadership:
ā¢ * Mentor and guide team members to ensure optimal performance.
ā¢ Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
ā¢ Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team progress.
ā¢ Quality Assurance:
ā¢ * Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet high standards.
ā¢ Conduct regular quality assurance reviews and audits.
ā¢ Identify and address quality issues promptly.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
ā¢ Strong technical knowledge of physical security systems and technologies (e.g., Ccure, Axis, Flir).
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
ā¢ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
ā¢ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
ā¢ Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., SmartSheets, Google Suites, CAD, BlueBeam, AutoDesk).
Additional Skills (Preferred):
ā¢ Knowledge of construction and facility management processes.
ā¢ Familiarity of LMR technologies (e.g., P25, TETRA, MOTOTRBO), DAS components, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems
