Project Manager -NOLA

Remote Full-time
About the role:
As a Project Manager at Simetrik, you will lead end-to-end enterprise implementation projects within the Payments and Reconciliation domain, ensuring that every initiative drives measurable business impact, efficiency, and scalability.
This is not an administrative project role — it requires a strategic, analytical, and hands-on leader capable of managing complex stakeholders, navigating challenging environments, and delivering results under pressure. You will translate business needs into executable plans, balancing scope, cost, and quality while maintaining a strong focus on value creation and business outcomes.
You will work closely with executive sponsors, operations leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure that every project is aligned with organizational objectives and delivers tangible impact in process optimization, automation, and financial control.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end implementation projects for enterprise clients, ensuring measurable business results and long-term scalability.
Connect execution with business value: define and track project KPIs that reflect operational efficiency, automation, and ROI impact.
Manage complex stakeholder environments, including executive sponsors, steering committees, and multi-level governance structures.
Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align delivery with strategic priorities.
Anticipate risks and manage escalations with a sense of urgency and solution-driven mindset.
Ensure adherence to agreed scope, timeline, and budget, while maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement within project frameworks and client interactions.
Represent the company as a trusted advisor, strengthening partnerships through clarity, accountability, and business insight.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within Payments, FinTech, or Financial Operations.
Proven track record managing enterprise-scale, multi-stakeholder projects with high business impact.
Experience linking project outcomes to business performance metrics (e.g., cost efficiency, automation gains, NPS, ROI).
Strong understanding of payment flows, reconciliation systems, and financial reporting.
Advanced command of project management methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead under pressure, manage ambiguity, and drive alignment with demanding executive sponsors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills, both technical and business-oriented.
High sense of ownership and urgency, with the ability to make decisions and move initiatives forward proactively.

Benefits:

Well-funded and proven startup with large ambitions and competitive salaries.
Entrepreneurial culture where pushing limits, creating and collaborating is everyday business.
Open communication with management and company leadership
Small, dynamic teams = massive impact
100% Remote Work (You choose where to work from)
500USD a year for you to invest in learning
2 Family days
1 full day off for your birthday
