Position Overview: As a Project Manager within our Implementation Services team, you will oversee the end-to-end management of implementation projects for payer-facing solutions. This role requires proactive project and implementation management, strong interpersonal communication skills, documentation collection and maintenance in Confluence, and seamless coordination with internal and external development resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Position responsibilities
• Independently manage small to large-scale implementation projects and change requests.
• Utilize and monitor a structured ten-step approach to implementation success, including project initiation, stakeholder meetings, progress reporting, documentation management, and deployment oversight.
• Manage Confluence and Salesforce updates, ensuring all project artifacts are current and accessible.
• Coordinate closely with development teams to align project objectives and timelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, meeting notes, action items, and other project-related activities including scope/workflow analysis, certifying business requirements and test plans, obtaining level of estimates, obtaining development commitment, acquiring sign-offs, deployment oversight, and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop business specifications and obtain necessary approvals.
• Conduct user training sessions as required.
• Maintain project schedules and foster strong client relationships through regular communication and project updates.
• Provide clear and timely verbal and written communications to stakeholders.

Skills and experience Required
• 3-5 years of direct technical experience in Project or Program Management within medical billing, clearinghouse, or bill review industries.
• Proficiency with EDI transactions (X12, other formats).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
• Experience in requirements elicitation and testing.
• Extensive project planning and priority management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office suite, including Project and Visio.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience interfacing with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of X12, proprietary, and banking transaction sets.
• Background in Property and Casualty, Healthcare, medical billing/remittance and payment processing.

Desired Competencies
• Strategic and innovative thinking abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile, SCRUM, or SDLC methodologies.
• PMP Certification is a plus.
• Background or exposure to electronic payment solutions.
• Experience in writing and executing SQL queries.
