Company Overview: A leading energy infrastructure company, established in 2017, specializing in the development, construction, and operation of energy storage assets in the U.S. Backed by a major investment firm, the company has a robust portfolio of utility-scale energy storage projects and a significant pipeline in development.
Position: Project Manager
Location: Austin, TX; Houston, TX; or Chicago, IL (minimum three days per week in-office, relocation assistance available)
Role Overview: Manage utility-scale Battery Energy Storage and Substation Projects. Responsible for project safety, scheduling, budgeting, contract management, and construction quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning: Oversee project design, coordinate engineering resources, manage project plans, and ensure timely project completion.
• Safety: Lead by example, enforce safety practices, conduct Job Hazard Analysis, and ensure team training.
• EPC Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with EPC partners and ensure project delivery meets company standards.
• Budget Management: Oversee project budget, costs, procurement, and materials management.
• Contract Management: Ensure compliance with contracts, manage change orders, and handle project-related purchases.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Familiarity with project management processes, including budgeting, contract negotiations, and scheduling software
• 5+ years of construction experience, including on-site work
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a construction leadership role
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for corporate vehicle insurance
• Ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel
