Position has opportunity to work from a U.S. based home office. Candidate must be enrolled as a student and registered in at least 12 credits. Preferred applicant should be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.

As a Daktronics Project Management Student, you will be involved in all phases of a project from Sales support to contract fulfillment. After demonstrated performance, Project Management Students will have the opportunity to manage projects and travel to project sites for event support, installation, and onsite supervision.
Project Management Students Will Be Responsible For
Project Management assistance for projects from various Sports and Commercial markets.
Assistance with:
Writing scopes of work, project pricing and estimates, sending and receiving project correspondence, and project documentation.
Sales support for project proposal generation, quoting, and technical presentation.
Initiation and organization of contract documents, subcontract documents, and general project correspondence.
Generating and monitoring project budgets and schedules.
Project management of standard orders and custom projects which may include installation and hiring of subcontractors under the guidance of Project Managers.
Coordination of internal project tasks including:
Sales to Engineering representations, systems design, project accounting, material requisition, manufacturing/product throughput, pulling and shipping project parts, and management feedback.
Work effectively as a team member, work with little supervision, help when and where needed, make and implement suggestions for product and process improvement, communicate effectively with Sales, customers, and project team members.
On-site project installation supervision or supervision assistance for projects.
Ability to regularly and reliably work scheduled hours.
Perform other duties as assigned and needed to meet customer expectations.
Pay And Perks
The typical hiring pay for this position is $18.00/hour to $20.00/hour. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including relevant education, experiences, location, and applicable local legislation.
Students with GPA of 3.5 and above are eligible for a $500 bonus (Academic Excellence Reward) each semester completed while employed.
This position will be eligible for company benefits including, employee discount program, employee assistance program, community donation program, unpaid time off, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, leaves, disability, and accommodations.

Qualifications
Academic Requirements:
The preferred applicant will be a student registered in at least 12 credits and currently enrolled in accredited Bachelors degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related degree.
The preferred candidate will be in their sophomore or junior year of school.
Only strong academic performers will be considered.
Must maintain an acceptable GPA.
Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered for this position.
Other Qualifications
Prior construction experience desired. Technical or mechanical interests, hobbies, and experiences also helpful.
Good oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, self-motivation, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Motor Vehicle records will be checked.
