They are seeking a Project Engineer to manage projects from design to completion, ensuring compliance with specifications and codes. Responsibilities Follow projects from design to completion Skills Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related degree, or equivalent experience in a construction-related position 1+ year of experience in project management Prior experience in directing and coordinating the construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements, as well as inspecting Knowledge of preparing specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment Supervising and training project team members as necessary The ability to work independently as well as part of a team The ability to travel with possible short-term relocation, as required The ability to read blueprints Sage Timberline, Primavera Suretrak, and Microsoft Office Suite software The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, problem solve, supervise, and organize while using effective time management skills Benefits Medical, Dental, and Prescription Drug Plan Life and Disability Insurance Paid-Time Company Overview We are a minority and women owned construction company specializing in federal, inter-state and local government projects.
