They are seeking a proactive Project Engineer to drive the planning, design, and execution of aerospace projects while coordinating interdisciplinary teams and managing project plans, budgets, and resources.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocationCoordinate interdisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are metOversee the execution of space-related systems or subsystems from concept to prototypeCollaborate with cross-functional teams (systems, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure design integrity and feasibility in line with cost and schedule requirementsAnalyze data and produce metrics to pinpoint any issues and drive corrective actionIdentify technical and programmatic risks early in the lifecycle and develop robust mitigation strategiesPrepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, project reports, and compliance records, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to space systemsEvaluate subcontract proposals and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and on-time deliveryMonitor project expenditures and resource utilization, suggesting adjustments as neededFacilitate a culture of continuous improvement throughout the engineering processServe as the programmatic liaison between design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and operations teamsCommunicate project progress and technical challenges to stakeholders at all levelsSkillsExperience in project engineering, management, design, or systems integration within a high-tech or aerospace environmentDemonstrated experience managing risk and cost, schedule, and technical baselines for an aerospace, engineering, or software development programExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to rapidly changing project prioritiesAbility to work within a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team environment to complete contractual commitmentsEligible for Top Secret/SCI Security ClearanceBachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 1 year of prior related experienceProficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project)Experience with customer interfacing and National Security aerospace programsAbility to establish new & further refining existing templates, tools, & guidelines for program documentation & executionExperience with ensuring compliance with approved Corporate and ISO 9001:2000 Policies and ProcessesActive TS/SCI US government security clearance with SCI eligibility strongly preferredBenefitsEquity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental LeaveCompany OverviewTrue Anomaly is builds space security and resilience at the intersection of spacecraft, software, and autonomy.
