Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will support the delivery of client-facing and internal projects, focusing on system implementations and project improvement initiatives while ensuring projects remain organized and documented.ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and coordination of client and internal projectsMaintain project plans, schedules, and task trackersMonitor task progress and follow up with team members to maintain accountabilityIdentify potential delays or risks and escalate them appropriatelyMaintain accurate and organized project documentation across systemsDeliver weekly status updates summarizing project progress and prioritiesAttend internal and client-facing meetings alongside the Project ManagerPrepare meeting agendas when neededCapture detailed meeting notes and document action itemsTrack follow-ups, owners, and deadlinesSupport internal communications and reporting processesPrepare post-meeting summaries and distribute updates to project team and/or stakeholdersMaintain project records within company systemsSupport improvements to project management tools and workflowsAssist with standardizing documentation templates and reporting formatsContribute to refining project delivery practices across the firmSkillsFoundational knowledge of project management principles and terminologyPost-secondary education or certificate in Project Management from an accredited university and/or college recognized by the Project Management InstituteExperience using project management tools such as Zoho Projects, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Jira, or similar platformsStrong organizational and coordination skillsExcellent documentation and note-taking abilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated professional verbal and written communication skillsExperience supporting ERP system implementation or operational projectsFamiliarity with structured project methodologies such as Predictive, Agile, or Hybrid approachesFamiliarity with accounting terminologyCAPM certification or membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI)BenefitsHybrid work environment (remote and in-office)Comprehensive benefits package: Medical (including Rx), Dental, and VisionClear growth pathways to a Project Management roleProfessional development and learning opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive work environmentOpportunity for billable project workEligibility for discretionary year-end performance bonuses based on individual contribution and overall company performanceCompany OverviewA modernized accounting firm that specializes in cloud-based bookkeeping, ERP implementations, accounting consultancy, and corporate tax services.
