As a Project Approval Underwriter II at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and approving project financing for various housing assistance programs. Responsibilities
Evaluate project appraisal budgets, questionnaires, financial statements, reserve studies, and other relevant documents to determine acceptability with Chase lending policies.

Work with internal partners to assess if projects or individual loan requests meet eligible Condo, Cooperative, and Attached PUD guidelines.

Achieve targets for productivity, quality, and partner satisfaction.

Contact outside third parties to obtain additional information as required.

Ensure all underwriting processes comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
One year of Project Approval Group Underwriting experience.

Two years of collateral processing, underwriting, or management experience.
,
Strong understanding of financial documents and appraisals.
,
Working knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA guidelines.
,
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, underwriting software, and financial analysis tools.
Nice-to-haves
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
