Overview

FedWriters is building a team to provide program management support services for the FBI's Finance & Facilities Division's Technology Section (ATS), which administers initiatives critical to the FBI's financial management infrastructure. As a Program Manager, you will be the primary interface with government stakeholders and oversee the execution of program management activities across three core task areas.

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, between 6am-6pm with required presence during core hours (9am-4pm EST) at FBI facilities in the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA)/National Capital Region (NCR).

Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary interface with the COR and CO, attending status meetings and ad hoc meetings with stakeholders
• Provide leadership, quality control, and management support at the ATS section level
• Provide a detailed Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) in accordance with government requirements
• Conduct frequent check-ins with ATS leadership to gain insight into projects, schedules, milestones, risks, and mitigation activities
• Assist in maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for ongoing efforts
• Coordinate and track project resources as directed by ATS leadership
• Provide consolidated regular reporting to senior management regarding schedule, performance, resource, risk, and IT assurance information
• Coordinate executive presentations, off-site meetings, and other section activities
• Track project team taskings through available tracking tools, ensuring critical path milestones are being achieved and on track
• Deliver monthly System Security and Performance reports

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive, project-related experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline
• Specialized experience in complete project development from inception to deployment
• Proven experience in providing guidance and directions on multiple tasks across several functional areas involving multiple system applications
• Proven experience in understanding program requirements, ability to review and evaluate all work performed
• Expertise in management and control of funds and resources
• Experience providing direction to staff to ensure compliance with management policies and procedures
• Extensive experience in providing technical management and direction for problem definitions, analysis, and requirements development for complex systems
• Documented experience in providing recommendations and advice to executives on system improvements and for optimization and maintenance of business processes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience and understanding of systems and systems development to assess the impact on the project of technical issues and potential mitigations
• Active TS clearance (must be willing and able to get a CI polygraph once hired)

Desired Qualifications:
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification highly desirable
