Program Coordinator - Quality Improvement

Work with a leading healthcare system at our innovative remote office! UMass Memorial Health is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to drive improvements in patient care through our Actionable Findings program. In this role, you will be a key leader, ensuring that follow-up recommendations from radiology exams are completed, analyzed, and implemented to enhance patient outcomes.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours). A signing bonus may be available.

As a Program Coordinator, you will:

Lead the process to ensure timely completion of follow-up recommendations for actionable findings identified on radiology exams.
Review and gather information from multiple sources within the electronic medical record to inform recommendations.
Ensure patients and their primary care providers are informed of actionable findings and recommendations.
Document actions and steps taken in the medical record.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Radiology, Emergency Department, Quality, and Risk Management to facilitate program success.
Develop and maintain work schedules for the Actionable Findings team.
Prepare metrics and reports for leadership to track program performance.
Monitor work effort and identify areas for improvement.
Communicate workflow changes and maintain documentation.
Participate in employee reviews and support ongoing education for the team.


Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Experience with project implementation/improvement initiatives is a plus.
Lean Yellow or Green Belt Training/Certification is preferred.
