Program Coordinator, Professional & Continuing Studies

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the development, delivery, coordination, and administration of Professional and Continuing Studies programs, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service for learners and partners.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate day-to-day operations of assigned PCS programs to ensure efficient delivery and high-quality serviceSupport end-to-end administration of programs, including scheduling, registration, documentation, and learner supportServe as the primary point of contact for prospective and current learners, faculty, instructors, and internal/external partnersMaintain accurate program schedules, records, student files, and departmental documentationPrepare and process instructor and partner contracts, invoices, and honorariaSupport course collection, timetabling, and scheduling to ensure effective program deliveryProvide enrolment projections and related data to support decision making for program or policy changesCoordinate onboarding for independent contractors in collaboration with the Associate Director, ProgrammingRespond to inquiries from prospective and current learners, providing accurate and timely information about program requirements, eligibility, and registration processesManage admissions processes, including application review, document collection, and maintenance of applicant filesAddress learner concerns and escalate complex issues when appropriateOrganize materials, track revisions, and coordinate partner feedback for curriculum review cyclesMonitor and analyze program performance metrics, and identify opportunities to improve program quality, processes, and learner experience, for evidence-based improvementsSkillsCollege diploma or degree (e.g., office administration, business administration, education) and/or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in program coordination, academic administration, admissions, or student services within a postsecondary or continuing education environmentKnowledge of the Professional and Continuing Education programs offered at BrockUnderstanding of the community college and private and public sectors of adult educationProficiency with student information systems, desktop publishing, database experience, and Microsoft Office toolsPromotes and embodies inclusivity and respect within the workplace and the broader communityExcellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a customer centered approachAbility to work independently in a supportive and collaborative mannerStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret academic documentation and program dataHigh level of attention to detail, time management and organizational skillsExperience with micro-credentialing frameworks and digital badging platformsFamiliarity with adult learning principles and online learning technologiesExperience assessing transcripts and academic recordsFamiliarity with the Ontario College of TeachersFamiliarity with quality assurance frameworks and accreditation processesExperience with data analysis, reporting, and process improvementBenefitsHealth & Dental Benefits: Comprehensive extended health, dental, and vision coverage.Pension Plan: Enrollment eligibility in the Brock University Pension Plan.Vacation: Up to 3 weeks per year, in addition to university holidays.Flexible Work Arrangements: Hybrid work schedule available.Professional Development: Eligibility for the Brock Tuition Waiver Program.Company OverviewBrock University is a public research university in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.
