Program Coordinator, Experienced - Medicare Solutions

Your Role

The Medicare Strategic Utility team provides business solutions and capabilities to Blue Health Plans across the country. The Program Coordinator, Experienced - Medicare Solutions will report to the Vice President of Medicare Solutions. In this role you will organize the Medicare Solutions Team efforts and activities into a cohesive plan that is tracked and managed. Provide administrative oversight of third-party relationships through implementation of designated processes and routine monitoring of performance.

Your Work

In this role, you will:
• Be responsible for alignment and integration across projects/programs in support of an integrated Medicare Solution
• Communicate and socialize projects required to support programs and partners to ensure their implementation on time, within budget and with benefits realized
• Participate cross-functionally in business planning to support business unit planning and implementation
• Be responsible for complex multi-dimensional projects/programs
• Exercise independent judgement in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results
• Collect and track team deliverables and see them through completion
• Coordinate forums, meetings and events to include scheduling, agenda preparation and content preparation
• Carry out administrative, analytical or procedural tasks with high degree of autonomy
• Serve as liaison between manager and direct reports and others within and outside the organization

Your Knowledge and Experience
• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Requires at least 3 years of prior relevant experience
• Basic experience of program/project coordination required
• Healthcare experience highly desired
Experience supporting a team of leaders/managers is highly desired
• Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $73,590.00 to $102,850.00 for California.

Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.

• Hybrid (Default): Work from a business unit-approved office at least two (2) times per month (for roles below Director-level) or once per week (for Director-level roles and above). Exceptions:
• Member-facing and approved out-of-state roles remain remote.
• Employees living more than 50 miles from their assigned offices are expected to work with their managers on a plan for periodic office visits.
• For employees with medical conditions that may impact their ability to work in-office, we are committed to engaging in an interactive process and providing reasonable accommodations to ensure their work environment is conducive to their success and well-being.
• On-Site: Work from a business unit-approved office an average of four (4) or more days a week.

Physical Requirements:

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
