Job Summary We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Team Member on a temp to hire basis. As a Production Team Member, you will play a critical role in our production process, working on a production floor assembling parts by hand, using tools or machines. Key Responsibilities As a Production Team Member, your primary responsibilities will include: Maintaining Quality Standards : Ensure that all products meet our high-quality standards by inspecting and testing products throughout the production process. Machine Operation : Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances, and effectively use hand tools and/or air tools. Quality Control : Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards, visually inspect the quality of in-coming production line materials, and eliminate defects. Production Goals : Meet daily production goals through teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives. Assembly and Packaging : Perform all assembly-related tasks and assignments in a safe and timely manner, pack and store materials and products. Communication and Teamwork : Support and communicate with Team Leaders on a daily basis, promote a team atmosphere, and assist with creation and completion of improvement and/or cost reduction ideas. Safety and Housekeeping : Comply with all safety rules and guidance, report all recognized hazards, and maintain housekeeping & 3R5S environment. Data Entry and Reporting : Read and/or enter data through computer, complete check sheets, reports, forms, etc as assigned & with accuracy. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications Education : High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience : No prior experience necessary, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Technical Skills : Basic reading and computer skills, ability to learn new tasks quickly and follow detailed work instructions. Communication Skills : Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with Team Leaders and colleagues. Attention to Detail : Attention to detail and ability to detect quality defects. Teamwork : Ability to be a team player in a team working environment, work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility : Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, work extended hours and overtime as needed on short notice. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Forklift License : May need to obtain a forklift license once hired in the position. Working Conditions As a Production Team Member, you will work in a production/assembly environment, which may require: Physical Demands : Traversing around production floor, standing for long periods of time, repetitive motions, lifting (between 25-50 lbs.). Shift Work : Work may take place on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
