Role: Product Pricing Master Data Management
Location: Shelton, CT, 06484 (Fully remote)
Contract
Purpose
ā¢ Ensures data quality consistency in the company's ERP and CRM via elimination of undesired duplicate records, maintenance of product offerings and product pricing. * Engages R&D, engineering, product management and manufacturing to maintain the product book, and product management to ensure pricing integrity and margin management are accurate.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Data Quality Management: Contribute to on-going cleansing and maintenance of product and pricing data by driving data entry standards for formatting, completeness, and accuracy for attributes within the customer and product master.
ā¢ Data Governance: Developing and enforcing data governance policies and standards to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory (where applicable) requirements.
ā¢ Data Integration Oversight: Responsible for ongoing data quality initiatives such as research, match/merging and various aspects of data cleansing to remediate issues identified while ensuring there is a single source of truth in data synchronization.
ā¢ Metadata Management: Maintaining and managing metadata, including definitions, data lineage, data ownership, while promoting greater understanding of the importance behind MDM governance.
ā¢ Training and Support: Provide training and support regarding data management tools, processes, best practices while fostering a culture of responsibility in data stewardship.
ā¢ Issue Resolution: Serve as a point of contact within assigned geography, for data related issues, and facilitate the resolution of discrepancies related to master data.
ā¢ Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor master data for quality issues while generating reports to keep key stakeholders informed about data quality metrics.
ā¢ Change Management: Manages changes to master data (updates, deletions) while ensuring MDM governance is adhered to.
ā¢ Continuous Improvement: consistently on the look-out for opportunities to improve master data management processes and contributes to ongoing MDM initiatives that enhance data governance policies.
ā¢ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide day-to-day support to cross-functional internal and external customers as related to customer accounts which includes legal entities, locations and contacts data elements and attributes
Basic Qualifications
ā¢ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in fields such as information technology, data management, business administration, computer science, or related discipline.
ā¢ Experience with data quality, data integration and data analytics is a plus.
ā¢ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills facilitating assessment of data quality issues, identification of root causes and countermeasure development.
ā¢ Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
ā¢ Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
ā¢ Must be able to work in a constantly changing environment and adapt easily.
ā¢ Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies related to MDM governance.
ā¢ Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, EBX and SAP.
ā¢ Previous experience in a Master Data Management (MDM) or Data Steward role a plus.
ā¢ Must have strong English language (other European-based language is a plus)
