Product Owner - Mobile App

The Role Base salary range: $90,000 - $105,000 per anum + bonus/equityWe are hiring a Product Owner II to support our Mobile App product development. This is a pivotal role responsible for driving execution within our mobile team, maintaining backlog health, facilitating scrum ceremonies, and ensuring tight coordination across teams. You’ll report to the Product Manager for Mobile and Account Acquisition and play a key role in delivering a stable, high-performing mobile experience to our clients.This position is ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience in product management or scrum roles, who is highly organized, great at cross-functional communication, and deeply familiar with the banking domain. A strong technical background is preferred. What You’ll DoProduct Ownership & Delivery CoordinationOwn and manage the mobile backlog in collaboration with the Product Manager.Ensure user stories are clear, prioritized, and aligned with sprint and release goals.Track execution timelines closely and escalate blockers to ensure smooth delivery.Scrum LeadershipAct as scrum facilitator: run sprint planning, daily stand-ups, grooming, and retrospectives.Maintain focus on sprint velocity, backlog hygiene, and sprint-to-sprint consistency.Partner with engineering, QA, and design to keep cross-functional teams aligned.Cross-Team AlignmentCoordinate incoming mobile requests across product lines to ensure prioritization reflects business value and development capacity.Communicate progress and blockers effectively with stakeholders.Banking Domain SupportLeverage your banking experience to provide product context and drive prioritization.Review delivered features to ensure they meet business requirements and design expectations.Partner with QA and engineering on issue triaging, client escalations, and UAT. What You Bring Must-Haves3+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or technical project management roles.Strong knowledge of the banking domain or digital banking products.Excellent scrum skills, backlog management, and sprint execution practices.Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing complex timelines.Exceptional cross-functional communication and team collaboration skills.Nice-to-HavesTechnical background or experience working closely with mobile engineering teams.Experience in B2B SaaS or fintech.Familiarity with mobile development and release cycles.
