Product Operations Consultant
Title: Product Operations Consultant Location: 100% Remote (Eastern Time Zone) Type: Contract Rate: $41 per hour Education: Education and experience equivalent to a four-year college degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or other related field is required Support of client’s growth strategy and organizational transformation projects by: • Standing up new systems to support life insurance products • Delivering new and innovative life insurance products on a state-of-the-art policy platform • Designing and developing automated testing processes to support the implementation of life products • Engaging with third-party administrator (TPA) to identify and resolve life product issues • Execution of test plans on the policy administrative systems and product illustration systems • Developing, testing, and maintaining Excel spreadsheet calculation tools • Providing oversight of TPA processes and procedures involving product calculations • Analyzing business requirements, product specifications, policy contracts, annual statements, and supplemental reports to justify implementation decisions Requirements: • Education and experience equivalent to a four-year college degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or other related field is required • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) is preferred • Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail • Ability to understand and interpret technical written material • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, for delivery to a variety of audiences • Learning mindset, focus on continuous process improvement • Effective use of technology and ability to navigate complex virtual environments • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel • Experience with individual life insurance.
