SafetyWing (YC W18) is seeking a Product Marketing Trainee to assist in streamlining our marketing strategies and enhancing the success of our insurance products. In this role, you will dive into market research, craft compelling messaging, oversee product launches, and develop tools to boost customer acquisition and retention. Your efforts will ensure our audience understands and values our products, directly contributing to our growth.

We are on a mission to remove the role of geographical borders as a barrier to equal opportunities and freedom for everyone. We are doing that by creating simple health, insurance, and retirement products for remote workers worldwide as a replacement for national welfare systems.

Your responsibilities will include

• Talking to our customers to find out why they buy our products and keeping an eye on market trends.





• Crafting clear and engaging messages that resonate with our diverse audience.





• Tracking and refining our growth, making data-driven suggestions for enhancements.





• Ensuring that both our team and customers have a deep understanding and appreciation of our product.





• Managing our website in collaboration with the design team to ensure it reflects our core messaging.





• Coordinating the launch of new features and product updates, prioritizing alignment with our product’s core principles.





• Creating web pages and ads to attract and keep customers, always seeking ways to do it better.





• Collaborating with customer success to proactively tackle customer issues and refine their experience.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a background in product marketing, with some practical experience or internship.





• Is passionate about creating strategies that resonate with target audiences.





• Is a team player who’s eager to collaborate across functions to achieve shared goals.
