Product Manager – Regulatory Data

Job Description: • Lead the strategy and execution of our multi-jurisdictional regulatory and compliance reporting suite • Define and evolve requirements for regulatory and compliance reports across multiple U.S. jurisdictions • Write and run SQL queries to validate report logic, identify root causes, and support audit investigations • Understand how data flows from source systems through pipelines into report outputs, and map those flows clearly • Partner with Compliance and Legal to interpret regulatory requirements, resolve ambiguity, and translate into precise data logic • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Platform teams to manage dependencies and maintain data quality • Act as the subject matter expert on field-level report logic, business context, and jurisdictional nuance • Monitor regulatory changes and lead corresponding updates to logic, format, and pipeline dependencies • Ensure all documentation is accurate, accessible, and defensible under regulatory scrutiny • Lead triage and resolution of data or reporting issues in production environments Requirements: • 2+ years of experience in product, compliance operations, regulatory reporting, or adjacent roles • Technical fluency. You can speak the language of APIs, data pipelines, and integration plans even if you're not the one writing the code • Strong analytical chops. You’ve worked with SQL, BI tools, or large datasets and aren’t afraid to dig into the data to verify assumptions • A bias toward action. You don’t get stuck waiting for someone else to make the first move • Comfort working closely with legal, compliance, external regulators, and engineering stakeholders across time zones • The ability to influence without authority, make defensible decisions, and challenge assumptions when needed • A sense of humor, perspective, and resilience, because compliance doesn’t have to be boring.
