Product Manager for Fintech - IslaPay

About Us IslaPay is a next-gen financial platform delivering multi-currency wallets, fiat rails, stablecoin integration, merchant payments, and card issuing across the Caribbean. We are looking for a Product Manager who can help lead our MVP into production and coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Compliance, Marketing, Vendors). Role OverviewThis is a hands-on, execution-focused product management role. You will work directly with the founders and product, engineering & compliance, team to ensure that all features, flows, integrations, and GTM milestones are delivered on time.The ideal candidate has experience in: Fintech, neobanking, payments, FX, digital wallets, or crypto rails MVP launches and multi-vendor API integrations Writing clear product requirements and managing agile sprints Working with engineering and compliance teams simultaneously Responsibilities Product Execution Own the product roadmap for the IslaPay MVP (wallet, FX, payments, cards). Break down business and regulatory needs into clear user stories & requirements. Work with Engineering to define sprints, acceptance criteria, and workflows.Vendor Integration Management & Coordinate with external partners. GTM & Country Rollout Support Prepare product deliverables for Guyana launch (crypto + fiat). Support Trinidad fiat-only rollout in alignment with local rules. Ensure compliance alignment with internal and external requirements. Product Documentation Create PRDs, flow diagrams, API requirement summaries, and test plans. Maintain the master backlog and ensure sprint readiness. Cross-Department Collaboration Work closely with: Engineering (implementation) Compliance (KYC/AML/flows) Marketing (launch materials) Founders (strategic decisions & GTM readiness) Requirements Must Have 3+ years experience as a Product Manager in fintech, payments, neobanking, or crypto.Strong understanding of wallets, KYC/KYB, payment flows, card issuing, FX, or digital assets. Experience with API-driven products and vendor integration execution. Ability to turn complexity into clear product requirements and user journeys. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with remote engineering teams and agile workflows. Nice to Have Caribbean fintech or emerging markets experience Regulatory knowledge (EMI, MSB, VASP, FIU, Travel Rule) UX/UI familiarity (Figma or wireframing experience) Project Duration Initial contract: 3 months (full-time or near full-time) Extension possible for 6–12 months Potential transition to long-term Head of Product role What Success Looks Like Weekly sprint delivery with clear acceptance criteria MVP on track for deployment All integrations (Girasol, Rapidz, PayWise, Brale, Crossmint) aligned on timelines GTM readiness for Guyana + Trinidad Clear documentation for Engineering, Compliance, and Marketing Apply tot his job
