Product Development Manager (Scrum Master)

3Pillar Global builds breakthrough software products that power digital businesses, and we are looking for a Development Manager / Scrum Master to build and lead 1 or multiple high-performing development teams that delight our clients through strong governance oversight and sustained product development excellence to ensure that we drive excellence within product delivery.As the Development Manager / Scrum Master, you will have oversight for client satisfaction and delivery within your team(s), and build confidence with clients and product teams re: our ability to deliver exceptional products. You will align your team to achieve the client outcomes. You are accountable for governance in your teams - escalating to the Client Engagement Manager for support. You will lead a globally distributed team to deliver exceptional products that deliver business changing results, and report to the Client Engagement Manager.Results are a must! Success in your role will be measured via a Delivery scorecard tied to account outcomes and client satisfaction, as well as revenue realization and direct margin targets. This role is expected to be 100% billable.Together we create incredible Key Responsibilities Lead the TeamManages the team in producing working software each iteration in accordance with the team’s commitmentsFacilitates planning sessions, team meetings, and other “rituals,” such as the daily standup, iteration planning, iteration kickoff, iteration review, and retrospectivesEnsures that the backlog of work for the team is well-defined with respect to scope, clarity of requirements, and acceptance criteriaHelps remove roadblocks to delivery success.Helps the team follow its defined process, and leads process improvement effortsLeads the team in evolving a product mindset, using our strengths to drive innovation in addressing our customers’ needs.Leads the team in developing a consultative approach when facing the customer
Manage DeliveryUnderstands the client’s business strategy and objectives as they relate to the product being developed; ensures that the client’s expectations are met or exceeded. Leads the team to develop this understanding.Dives in with the team, participating in requirements, analysis, design, coding, and testing activities as needed.Oversees the completion of stories, ensuring that the team understands what “Done” means for each story.Ensures that all production deliveries meet acceptance, operational, and quality criteriaInterfaces between the team and the customerCommunicates effectively within the team and with all stakeholders by providing high-quality visibility into planned and actual deliverables.Works closely with Client Services team to ensure a good resource mix for the team ensuring customer delight and at the same time enabling the team to grow within the organizationDevelops camaraderie and strong collaboration across both the 3Pillar team and the client team,Assists in developing strategies to take advantage of opportunities within the account and works collaboratively with the Client Partner to execute them.
