Product Development Assistant

The Product Development Assistant supports the Product Development team in managing workflows, sample organization, and communication with vendors to ensure timely product delivery and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update development charts, trackers, and WIPs to ensure product development data is accurate and currentReceive, process, organize, and distribute samples to cross-functional teams, ensuring visibility and timely reviewPrepare and ship packages to vendors, New York, and international teams, and maintain tracking and follow-up on deliveriesSupport the review and tracking of PROTO and SMS samples to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to development timelinesOrganize and manage in-season sample libraries, ensuring all products are properly labeled, stored, and accessiblePartner with Design and Technical Design to confirm BOMs and Technical Packs are complete and submitted to vendorsAssist the Product Development Manager and Wash Specialist in reviewing wash samples and tracking development progressCommunicate with overseas vendors as needed to support development updates and follow-upMaintain organized documentation and ensure all development materials are properly filed and accessibleIdentify opportunities to improve processes, maintain high productivity standards, and contribute to overall product qualitySkills1–3 years of experience in product development, production, or a related apparel roleStrong organizational and time management skills in a deadline-driven environmentExcellent communication and collaboration skills across teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in detailed workBackground in the fashion or apparel industryExperience supporting denim product development and familiarity with denim fabrics and raw materialsExperience working with overseas vendors and global development teamsProficiency with apparel software systems and tools such as Full Circle, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Adobe, and PowerPointBenefitsHealth benefitsA 401(k) with employer matchMerchandise discountsCommuter benefitsWellness & employee assistance programsCompany OverviewTrue Religion which is headquartered in California, was founded in 2002 by Jeffrey Lubell with the intention of redefining premium denim It was founded in 2021, and is headquartered in Rancho Dominguez, California, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
