Product Costing and Inventory Valuation Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing product costs and inventory valuation to ensure accuracy and compliance. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management. Perform thorough analysis of product costs and inventory valuation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Develop and maintain cost accounting and inventory management systems. Conduct regular audits of product costs and inventory levels to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for cost and inventory related projects. Monitor and analyze cost trends and make recommendations for cost-saving opportunities. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of product costs and inventory valuation to management. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for cost accounting and inventory management processes. Provide support to internal and external auditors during audits related to product costs and inventory valuation. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of cost accounting and inventory management. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to cost accounting and inventory valuation. Train and mentor team members on cost accounting and inventory management processes. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms for raw materials. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, regarding cost and inventory related matters. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to cost accounting and inventory management.
