Procurement Specialist (Biotech / Fully Remote)
Description • *FULLY REMOTE OPPORTUNITY ... Our client, a NYC biotech company that is applying a patient-focused approach to assisting those with autoimmune diseases, is seeking a CLINICAL TRIALS PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST on a long-term, contract basis (6+ months). The ideal candidate will have substantial Pharma / Biotech outsourcing experience and must be highly familiar with clinical trials and ancillary services in the BIOTECH space. This candidate will work cross functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure effective sourcing execution, including bidding, negotiations, contracting, spend management, and timely resolution of supplier related issues. Must have prior experience managing suppliers (i.e. CROs, Clinical Labs, etc.). In collaboration with the company's clinical and medical leadership, this role will lead sourcing initiatives, including generating requests for proposals and negotiating contracts for new and existing clinical vendors. **Previous Pharma / Biotech experience and Clinical Trial Procurement experience is required** Requirements • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, particularly in the biotech industry. • Must have experience in clinical trials and ancillary services. • Have the ability to work fully remote during East Coast business hours.
