About The Role & The Urgency:

Are you the go-to Mac expert who loves solving problems and hates seeing support tickets drag on for days? We are seeking an experienced and proactive Apple Systems Specialist to provide exceptional technical support for our amazing clients. Our current contractor is transitioning out, and we are looking to fill this role immediately with a long-term partner who can start within the next 7-10 days.

This is a critical role responsible for the security, functionality, and happiness of ~27 Mac users across a handful of key clients.

Your Core Mission:

To provide ridiculously efficient, high-touch support that solves problems fast, empowers users, and makes technology feel easy. You will own the client technical relationship, from onboarding new employees to managing their entire technology stack.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Believes in Proactive Support: You know that a 5-minute phone call or screen share can resolve an issue that might take days of back-and-forth emails. You are not afraid to pick up the phone to deliver a fast, high-touch solution.

Is an Apple & Google Workspace Guru: You have deep, hands-on experience managing Macs in a business environment, preferably using an MDM like Addigy, and are an expert in Google Workspace administration.

Loves to Document: You understand that clear documentation is key to teamwork and scalability. You leave things more organized than you found them.

Is a Tenacious Problem-Solver: When you see a problem you’ve never encountered before, you get excited, not frustrated. You are resourceful and creative in finding solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage and resolve all support requests via our ticketing system, prioritizing efficiency and client satisfaction.

Administer client systems including Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365, Backblaze, 1Password, Adobe, Asana, etc.

Manage, monitor, and optimize our Mac fleet using Addigy MDM.

Perform new Mac setups, employee onboarding/offboarding, and data migrations (using tools like CloudHQ).

Manage DNS with CloudFlare and handle mid-level networking troubleshooting.

Maintain detailed hardware and software inventory records.

Qualifications & Mindset:

3+ years of experience in a technical support or systems administrator role, with a strong focus on the Apple ecosystem.

Expert-level knowledge of macOS and Google Workspace.

Hands-on experience with an MDM platform (Addigy strongly preferred).

A self-starter who takes initiative, anticipates needs, and communicates clearly.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly or monthly retainer, commensurate with experience.
