Pro Fee & Pro Clinic Medical Coders
HCCS currently has multiple full-time and part-time openings for experienced and certified Pro Fee and Pro Clinic/Outpatient Coders. The ideal candidate will need to have three plus years of current medical coding experience in coding Pro Fee/Clinic charts, along with a current coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC (CCA and CPC-A credentials are not accepted). Full-time candidates will be expected to work 40 hours per week, M-F.
Position Requirements:
Ā Current coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC
Ā CCA and CPC-A not accepted
Ā Three or more years of coding experience in Pro Fee IP/OBS/SDS and/or Clinic/Outpatient Coding
Ā Three or more years of E/M Leveling experience
Ā Recent experience in production coding within the past six months
Ā Proficiency in coding using the 2023 coding guidelines and MDM
Specialty Areas (one or more of the following are required):
Ā Family & Internal Medicine
Ā Pediatrics
Ā Rural Health Clinic
Ā Wound Care and Gastroenterology
Ā Multi-Specialty
