Private Markets Fundraising/Marketing Analyst/Associate

They are seeking an Analyst/Associate for their Secondary Fundraising/Marketing team to assist in managing fundraising processes and communications with investors, collaborating with various internal teams to support capital formation activities.ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing fundraising processesLiaise with portfolio managers and sales force, legal, finance, and operations teams to deliver materials and respond to requests for proposals (“RfPs”), manage prospect follow-ups, as well as answer client/prospect inquiriesManage fundraising activity across distribution channelsManage capital formation activities, such as drafting legal documents, launching datarooms and creating marketing materialsUpdate fund marketing materials and other ongoing prospect communicationsProvide sales with tools that they need, such as content, customized materials and education of the productWork closely with investment teams to provide communication and updates internally and externally during fundraising processesPerform quantitative analyses, benchmarking, and researchServe as a resource for the broader Neuberger Berman sales teams for Secondary related mattersHandle logistics related to closings including coordination with sales, legal, subscription and clientsOrganize and coordinate onsite meetings for clientsManage Secondary platform dataTrack and maintain LP commitment dataTrack investment activity and performance across productsHelp manage public exposure through our annual meeting, industry conferences, databases and seminarsSkillsAt least 1-2 years of relevant professional experience (i.e., experience with investment banking, secondary firm, placement agent or consulting)Undergraduate degree in economics or financeExcellent academic credentialsAbility to multi-task, team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects and manage them effectivelyStrong organizational skillsRemarkable attention to detailStrong judgment, maturity and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication, and ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written formInitiative and creativity in approach to problem solving and to be resourcefulExhibits strong dedication to the job and takes ownership of deliverablesAbility to move quickly up the learning curveBenefitsPaid time offMedical/dental/vision insuranceRetirementLife insuranceOther benefitsCompany OverviewNeuberger Berman is an independent and employee-controlled asset management company, providing global investment solutions.
