Our private practice is owned by a solo physician who is dedicated to providing personalized medical services to our community. We are also supported by a skilled nurse practitioner, and we are seeking a self-motivated, multitasking Front Desk Receptionist to be an integral part of our supportive team.
Job Description: As a Front Desk Receptionist in our private family practice, you will primarily manage administrative and receptionist duties while occasionally assisting with minor clinical tasks. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth office operations and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
? Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures.
? Schedule appointments and manage patient communications.
? Verify insurance information and handle billing inquiries.
? Maintain organized and accurate patient records.
? Perform minor clinical tasks as needed, including: Rooming patients and preparing them for exams and taking vital signs and documenting information in the patient's chart.
? Ensure the front office and clinical areas remain clean and organized.
? Collaborate with the physician, nurse practitioner, and team members to foster a positive and balanced work environment.
Qualifications:
? Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
? Self-motivated and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
? Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures is a plus.
? Flexibility to learn and adapt to both administrative and minor clinical tasks.
