We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Privacy Analyst to join our team. The analyst is responsible for ensuring the handling of sensitive data complies with applicable privacy laws, regulations, and internal policies. Additionally, the analyst will conduct privacy impact assessments, monitor data processing activities, mitigate privacy risks, and support the development & implementation of data privacy programs. This position offers remote flexibility within a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO. The salary range for this position is $85,000- $105,000 and will be determined based on location and experience level. All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity. What you'll be responsible for: Collaborates on the development and implementation of a comprehensive data privacy program to ensure compliance and protect sensitive data. Collaborates with the Information Cybersecurity team to integrate privacy controls into technology solutions reducing risk and enhancing security. Conducts Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and risk analyses to identify and mitigate privacy risks. Monitors and audits data processing activities for compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other regulations to prevent violations and ensure regulatory adherence. Responds to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and manage related workflows to uphold individual privacy rights. Supports incident response for data breaches, including investigation and reporting minimizing impact and meeting legal obligations. Participates in the design and implementation of data privacy training for employees to promote a culture of privacy awareness within the organization. Reviews vendor contracts and third-party agreements for privacy compliance to ensure partners meet privacy standards. Stays current with evolving privacy laws and best practices, advising stakeholders on changes to keep the organization compliant and informed. May perform other job duties as assigned. What you'll need to have: Minimum of four years experience in privacy or compliance. What would be nice for you to have: Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT) are a plus. Strong knowledge of global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA). Skilled in using data visualization tools to present complex data clearly (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strong regulatory knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and emerging privacy laws. Skilled in performing data mapping, encryption, access controls, and familiarity with privacy tools (e.g., BigID). Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate privacy risks. Understanding of data lifecycle, classification, and retention policies.
