Prior Authorizations Specialist Texas
Our client is currently hiring an Authorizations Specialist located in Texas. The primary purpose is to review and process non-specialty authorization requests, guaranteeing all approvals are completed accurately and on time, strictly adhering to our policies and procedures. You'll be working closely and collaboratively with our partner teams as well as the Service Coordination teams to ensure authorizations are completed in a timely and correct manner. We foster a supportive, high-volume environment where teamwork is essential to meet our demanding deadlines. CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCATED IN TEXAS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE salary: $17 - $18 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities • Handle a large volume of non-specialty authorization requests across various categories. • Work in close partnership with other teams and Service Coordination to resolve issues and ensure a smooth authorization flow. • Maintain accurate daily production trackers and communicate completion status to designated leads. • Ensure all authorizations are processed correctly and on time, meeting the established 3-4 Business Day (BD) Turnaround Time (TAT) for authorizations.
