Principal SAP MM Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP MM Consultant As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, identify areas of improvement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will be responsible to manage the turnaround expectations from the team in terms of any SLA/KPIs and front ending the deliverables of the team with the client stakeholders. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology. • This position is based in Detroit; MI. Candidates must be willing to work from office at this location daily. Preferred Qualifications: • At least 11 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment • At least 11 years of experience in SAP Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes • At least 11 years of experience in SAP Material Management and Inventory Management Skills • Strong in S4HANA SAP Material Management and Inventory Management, experience in configuring and customizing the processes of Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Requirement Planning, Variant Configuration, Valuation, Inventory Management, IS Auto specific processes like JIT , S2L and Kanban • Should have done minimum 1 S4 HANA greenfield end to end Implementation • i. Knowledge on WRICEF, EDI, Idoc, Batch processing in MM. • ii. MM Integration knowledge on sales, Finance, production, SCM(APO) modules. • iii. Knowledge on RF Scanning Devices. • Experience/expertise of MM integration points with SD, PP, and FI/CO • SAP product certifications are a plus. • Fluency in English. • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business. • Strong leadership skills. Ability to lead team in resolving complex issues in a fast pace and challenging environment. • Analytical and Communication skills • Experience with project management • High Impact communication with senior stakeholders • Ability to conduct Design workshops The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
