Atlassian is looking for aPrincipal Product Marketing Manager , who will be at the forefront of Atlassian's AI product - Rovo. Your primary responsibility will be to develop go-to-market strategies aimed at attracting and engaging customers for Rovo. Your understanding of the challenges companies can solve with AI and AI agents will help you to create messaging, produce engaging content, and deliver comprehensive marketing strategies that speak directly to audiences who can find value in AI. In addition to supporting Rovo directly, you will also represent AI within Atlassian's broader portfolio.
In this role, you will:
Messaging and Positioning:Develop and refine messaging that communicates Rovo's value to Atlassian customers and prospective customers. Ensure that this messaging is consistent across channels (ads, web, events, AR, etc.).
Go-to-Market Strategy:Develop and implement go-to-market strategies aimed at acquiring and engaging customers. This includes identifying key market opportunities, defining target segments, and creating tailored marketing initiatives to drive adoption and growth within the developer community.
Campaign Strategy:Partner with demand generation and performance marketing teams to design, execute, and optimize multi-channel paid campaigns to improve product awareness and acquisition of our target audiences.
Content Development:Develop content that supports both discovery and adoption of Rovo. This includes everything from SEO content, to product guides, use cases, event talk tracks, and more.
Market & Competitive Research:Monitor the market and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and product development.
Collaboration:Work closely with teams including product management, sales, design, and engineering to align marketing efforts with product roadmaps and business goals.
Customer Advocacy:Develop and maintain relationships with customers and community influencers. Leverage these relationships to create compelling customer stories and testimonials.
Your background:
8+ years in product marketing, with a focus on AI or technical products and audiences.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI tools, and the AI market.
Messaging: Strong storyteller with the ability to create compelling narratives for technical audiences.
Market Analysis: Experience with competitive analysis and market research in knowledge management, AI, and project management space.
Influence: Ability to build relationships with senior partners across Sales, Marketing, and Product to achieve a shared vision and goals.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $173,300 - $231,000
Zone B: $155,900 - $207,900
Zone C: $143,800 - $191,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
