We're looking for a Financial Services Principal Product Manager (Tech) who is ready to work in a rapidly changing industry and will help us develop products and innovate on behalf of the customer. As PPM, you will engage with a cross-disciplinary team and ring-fenced tech team to conceive, design, and develop innovative automotive discovery & shopping experiences for our customers.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead the vision, strategy, and development of innovative automotive finance products, including the customer experience.
• Drive technical architecture decisions and product roadmap in partnership with engineering teams, balancing customer experience, technical feasibility, and speed to market while maintaining Amazon's high bar for excellence
• Define and execute data-driven experiments to optimize the financing journey; establish success metrics, analyze results, and iterate rapidly to improve customer satisfaction and business outcomes
• Author product specifications, technical requirements, and strategy documents
• Represent the automotive finance product organization to senior leadership, providing regular updates on product development, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives while advocating for resources and support

A day in the life
In this role you will collaborate with the team to develop the product vision for a brand-new set of financial services experience on Amazon.
This role is inherently cross-functional - You will work closely with engineering, product management, design, operations, finance, legal, and business development to bring new products to our customers.
You will be expected to create certainty out of ambiguity while having a firm grasp over the operational, and financial aspects of your programs.

We are a newly formed team with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection.
We’re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
