Job Summary
The Principal MedComm Writer will be accountable for drafting and reviewing scientifically accurate, original content for medical and promotional pharmaceutical clients.
In this role, you will work with clients and the Scientific Strategy Lead to plan and develop high-impact, innovative medical communications for assigned brands.

Job Type: Contract
Salary: $80 - 90 per hour
Work Hours: 8 to 4
Education: Doctorate
Responsibilities
Develop and review various deliverables such as slide decks, video scripts, website copy, publications, meeting summaries, and workshops.
Collaborate with strategy leads to align on client goals and project content.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, identify medical opportunities, and contribute to strategic development.
Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge in therapy areas, especially in immunology, to be recognized as an expert.
Educate agency teams on science and clinical content in your area of expertise.
Qualifications
Required Education: PhD, PharmD, NP, or MD
Skills: Deep understanding of medical communication workstreams, relationship building, analytical skills, familiarity with oncology data, interpreting clinical studies.
Experience: 5+ years in medical communications in a pharmaceutical agency, 2+ years specifically in immunology.
