We're seeking a highly skilled Principal Infrastructure Engineer - Windows OS to join our agile product team in Aurora, CO. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in designing and architecting our system with a focus on Windows Server and Windows OS expertise. About the Role We're looking for a seasoned Principal Infrastructure Engineer with well-rounded Windows Infrastructure Engineering expertise to support the design, development, and implementation of traditional compute/network/storage deployments, as well as emerging DevOps/DevSecOps & Service Mesh technologies. As a Principal Engineer, you will interface with Program Sr. Management and Customers for Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) as required. This is a unique opportunity to work in a Secure Compartmented Integration Facility (SCIF) environment and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies. Key Responsibilities Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to develop and communicate implementation of infrastructure solutions Provide direction on development and automation of products, including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program needs Assist in training up other Jr engineers to support the Program/team as needed to support program Operations Assist with integration of the selected platform provisioning tool, such as VMWare Assist with design/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premises computing environments Ensure that the COTS stack and versioning is consistent across the platform; and work with the team to make updates as necessary Travel to customer sites to assist in system updates and deliveries when necessary (up to 10% travel) Essential Qualifications Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI /(CI Poly Preferred) security clearance is required prior to start date Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics and 8+ years of related work experience Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (e.g., scrum, SAFe) Extensive Experience with Windows & Windows Server 2012 r2+ Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go) Preferred Qualifications Administrative fluency with the following (or vendor equivalent): Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMWare solutions Experience with VMware Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure on Linux-based Operating Systems Extensive Linux development experience (RHEL 6+) General/Notional Experience in Networks; SAN/NAS designs and implementation Experience with the Agile development lifecycle Experience with PowerShell Scripting Ansible Automation and yaml file structure NetApp ONTAP 9.0 & ZFS filesystem Cisco IOS / Fiber Switch Familiarity Cisco Server Hardware / ILO Remote Management SonicWALL Firewall Management Sun Microsystems Server Management Deployment of SSL Certificates in Windows and Linux Oracle Database Management What We Offer At Raytheon Technologies, we value: Trust Respect Accountability Collaboration Innovation We offer a range of benefits, including: Relocation Assistance Eligibility Competitive salary (range: $96,000 - $200,000 USD) Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules Employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave Paid time off, and holidays Why Join Us?
