Amazon Adapt is hiring a Principal GTM Specialist to service Amazon Ads’ Sales and Partner Enablement (SPE) organization. This position is virtually-based, in the US. This person will flex to provide coverage between business vacancies across SPE GTM roles.

Amazon Ads is seeking an experienced advertising GTM expert to join our Adapt sales team as a Principal GTM Specialist. This key role, reporting to the Head of AMER Adapt Global Sales, will be responsible for delivering high-quality business coverage, ensuring seamless transitions, and driving adoption of Amazon's advertising solutions. The ideal candidate will be an industry veteran with deep expertise in Full Funnel Advertising, including both buy-side and sell-side technologies. Core responsibilities include shaping go-to-market strategies, influencing product roadmaps, and spearheading demand generation initiatives to accelerate Amazon Ads' growth in the competitive advertising landscape. This position is crucial in bridging the gap between our global sales teams and product development, requiring strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures. As part of the innovative Amazon Ads Adapt team, the Principal GTM Specialist will play a pivotal role in advancing our position at the forefront of advertising and eCommerce intersection.

Key job responsibilities
•Ensure seamless, bar-raising business coverage.
•Serve as the voice of the customer and sales teams to our product organizations, defining and prioritizing global sales needs to influence product development decisions.
•Develop and implement comprehensive GTM strategies and sales plays for both existing and new Ads capabilities, focusing on areas such as data/identity solutions, supply optimization, AI/ML-driven bidding, and advanced measurement and reporting tools.
•Own the end-to-end process of delivering strategic plans, from initial conception to successful execution and performance analysis.
•Drive sales enablement initiatives, ensuring our global sales teams are equipped with the knowledge and tools to effectively communicate the value of our advertising solutions.
•Collaborate with Product Marketing to craft compelling narratives and positioning for our advertising offerings.
•Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation in the advertising space.
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across global sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and drive successful outcomes.
•Leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and demonstrate the impact of advertising initiatives on key business metrics

About the team
Amazon Adapt is a program designed to offer coverage solutions for business gaps which may occur due to extended leave (parental, medical) and unexpected account transitions or gaps in business needs. Amazon Adapt deploys highly skilled, hyper-agile talent that ensures customers can continue to invest in their partnerships with Amazon Ads, uninterrupted. The program ensures that the high bar for customer service, strategic partnership, and revenue attainment is maintained during these coverage gaps.Basic Qualifications

- 10+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 10+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience building and deploying GTM strategies, with an emphasis on packaging, positioning and messaging
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience thinking and working creatively to develop unique joint value propositions and product strategy within a partner ecosystem

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
