Principal Counsel, Strategic Sourcing | Remote | Night Shift - US EST
This role is Remote, and the successful candidate will be required to work North America time zone hours.
In this role, you will...
ā¢ Report to the Principal Counsel and provide business and legal support for all the company's global strategic sourcing matters.
ā¢ Partner with the company's internal Technology, IT, Marketing, Strategic Sourcing, and other teams in connection with the negotiation and drafting of all global procurement contracts.
ā¢ Maintain and improve forms, processes, procedures, and best practices related to all strategic sourcing activities. You've got what it takes if you have...
ā¢ A graduate or post-graduate degree in law (LLB, LLM) from a reputable university and are a member in good standing of a state bar in India.
ā¢ A minimum of 7 years' experience as a practicing lawyer with experience in an in-house setting (SaaS or other tech company is strongly preferred).
ā¢ Extensive professional experience in negotiating procurement contracts, ideally internationally, with excellent communication, negotiation, and contract drafting skills.
ā¢ Ability to thrive in a demanding, high-growth, high-volume environment, including the ability to manage and prioritize competing tasks without sacrificing quality, attention to detail, accuracy, or timeliness.
ā¢ Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to consider flexible and creative solutions, sometimes in the face of unknowns.
ā¢ Excellent organizational, project management, and execution skills.
ā¢ Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to collaborate and build positive relationships with colleagues within the Legal team as well as with other internal stakeholders.
ā¢ Experience in understanding and navigating privacy, security, and AI considerations in procurement.
ā¢ Commitment to work North America time zone hours.
ā¢ Fluency and proficiency in written and spoken English.
