Principal Corporate Security Engineer

Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.ResponsibilitiesOn your first day, we'll expect you to have:Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Golang, Java, etc)Proven experience in corporate IT security, with a strong background in implementing security solutions across a diverse IT landscape.Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. The ability to reason about security decisions and provide domain knowledge and guidance to stakeholders and engineering functions.5+ years of experience leading large-scale projects from start to finish and mentoring other security practitioners.Experience working across multiple security domains, e.g. Endpoint, Network, IAM, DLP, Zero-Trust, Application SecurityIt's great, but not required if you have:A background in large-scale cloud businessesFamiliarity with security compliance frameworks, e.g ISO27001, SOC2, FedRAMP, HIPAAExperience with enterprise browser managementExperience with cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure)QualificationsCompensationAt Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones.
