Principal Consultant - Finance

Position Overview Doppio - a leading Infor Alliance and Delivery Partner in North America - is seeking a Principal Consultant - Finance to join our solutions delivery team. This person will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve optimal use of their Infor ERP system. This Principal Consultant will apply their expertise in translating business requirements into integrated solutions so that our clients have optimal functionality of their system, ensuring data integration and automation. Our ideal candidate has a robust understanding of Infor M3, the components of Manufacturing ERP systems, a strong finance / accounting background, and is able to develop and lead Implement, Migration, Configuration, Testing, and Training efforts. More specifically, here is what you will be doing: • Working with clients to thoroughly understand and document their business process requirements • Turning requirements into seamlessly integrated solutions and comprehensive design specifications for our technical team • Developing end-to-end Finance process flow documentation demonstrating fluency in M3 terminology • Configuring all aspects of the M3 Finance and Accounting programs and in accordance with customer requirements and/or Implementation Accelerator (IA) best practices • Leading and/or assisting with the development of testing scripts and scenarios • Training the process owners (end users) in M3 finance functions • Advising clients on a variety of topics including best practices with the capability to provide global solutions along with consolidation of financial statements • Applying your honed relationship management skills to help build enduring relationships with Doppio clients, throughout the ERP life cycle • Mentoring and encouraging junior team members by sharing experiences Now, let's talk about you. Your success has come from your ability to combine your technical craft with supreme relationship management skills. Additionally, you have: • 10-15 years of experience with Finance systems of record, which includes detailed understanding of the following areas: • Cash Flow Management • Cost Accounting • Multiple Unit Coordination • Risk Management • Automatic Recording of Bank Statements • Accounts Payable • Accounts Receivable • General Ledger • Financial Close • Current Assets • Fixed Assets • Reconciliation and Valuation • Group Consolidation • Report Generator • Tax Management • 5+ years of Infor M3 Finance application configuration experience • 5+ years in consulting environment • Hands-on experience training users to work with the M3 Finance programs • Proven track record of collecting Client requirements and turning them into seamlessly integrated solutions that automate business processes • Experience advising clients on data management best practices • Ability to successfully migrate/integrate data, which includes planning the approach and trouble-shooting when migrations/integrations encounter challenges • Proven track record in configuring systems that request business process requirements • Experience developing and executing testing plans • Experience and comfort level with leading and/or overseeing end-user training While not a requirement, we also really like: • Infor M3 Finance Certifications (v13.4) • Client project management experience • Experience working in multi-tenant industry CloudSuites A bit about us Founded in 2013, Doppio is a global technology consulting firm with a presence in Chicago, Vancouver, and Bangalore, and additional remote team members across North America and India.
