Principal Cloud Architect, Senior Manager (Remote)
What you will do
You will become a trusted advisor working hand-in-hand with our clients, from data owners and analytic users to C-level executives. You will engage in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver cloud-based solutions across a variety of industries. These cases can range from:
ā¢ Strategic assessment of existing infrastructure and business processes
ā¢ Designing and architecting deployable cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
ā¢ Optimizing cloud-native applications or defining efficient migration plans from on-prem to cloud
ā¢ Leading and collaborating with customers via workshops and whiteboarding
ā¢ Developing Infrastructure as Code templates
ā¢ Evaluating cloud costs (FinOps) to identify opportunities for billing reduction
ā¢ Auto-scaling data applications
ā¢ Establishing best practices, tooling, and enablement of DevOps and CI/CD

We are looking for cloud infrastructure rockstars who deeply understand business problems and enjoy solving them. You are a driven self-starter who loves working with people to architect reliable, scalable cloud platforms. You are passionate about contributing to a growing team and establishing best practices.
ā¢ Degree educated in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
ā¢ Experience with managing stakeholders and collaborating with customers
ā¢ Strong written and verbal communication skills required
ā¢ Professional or Expert Certification from at least one cloud platform required
ā¢ 3+ years developing and tuning innovative solutions on Amazon Web Services (preferred), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
ā¢ 3+ years working with DevOps CI/CD and agile methodologies
ā¢ 3+ years working with microservices architectures and containerization solutions
ā¢ Expertise in networking, encryption, and key management principles for the cloud
ā¢ Expertise in High Availability and Disaster Recovery subject areas
ā¢ Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies
ā¢ Experience working with streaming technologies is bonus
ā¢ Consulting experience preferred
ā¢ Willingness to travel
