About the position Responsibilities • Combine advanced clinical nursing skills with technical knowledge to create systems that improve the quality of patient outcomes. • Drive clinical data acquisition efforts, focusing on electronic medical record data. • Partner with key network partners to understand current state workflows. • Educate providers on HEDIS measure specifications. • Interpret clinical quality measures and assess their alignment with current workflows. • Serve as an Informatics subject matter expert, demonstrating strong analytical thinking skills. • Lead the development and identification of strategies and best practices. • Analyze EHR data to identify areas for care improvement. • Conduct primary source verification on clinical data. • Facilitate process and program enhancements to support clinical data acquisition programs. • Promulgate evidence-based clinical practice by developing best practices and performance improvement projects. • Apply advanced education and experience to address complex clinical-technical challenges in diverse healthcare environments. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. • 5+ years of clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or health plan setting. • 3+ years of experience with quality measurement (e.g., HEDIS, eCQM) including data collection and analysis. • 1+ years of experience working with informatics in a healthcare setting. • RN License in Oregon, Washington, or California. Nice-to-haves • Master's Degree in Informatics, Information Technology, Public Health, or another clinical discipline. • 1+ years of Health Plan HEDIS experience. • Informatics certifications or credentialing. • Active Clinical Informatics or EHR certification.
