One of our companies is currently looking for a Principal AI Engineer - Servicing Solutions in the United States. As a Principal AI Engineer, you will define the technical vision for integrating cutting-edge AI-driven solutions into a loan and lease servicing platform. This involves collaborating with leadership, product, and engineering teams to build scalable, AI-powered automation and decision-making systems. You will play a pivotal role in driving the transformation of the servicing business, using AI technologies like Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic systems to enhance efficiency and scale. Accountabilities: • Lead the architecture and development of AI-driven tools integrated with LLMs and multi-agent systems to drive automation and decision-making processes. • Build and implement advanced knowledge management systems, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, to enhance AI-powered insights and recommendations. • Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to align AI initiatives with business objectives and drive scalable, efficient AI solutions. • Mentor engineering teams on best practices in AI/ML, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence. • Ensure AI solutions meet regulatory standards, including SOC 2 and PCI-DSS, and adhere to ethical guidelines. • Drive the evaluation and integration of third-party AI models, APIs, and agentic frameworks, optimizing AI capabilities for performance and scalability. • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years working specifically with AI/ML solutions or Large Language Models (LLMs). • Strong expertise in building and improving distributed systems and full-stack applications, with proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and AI-driven backend systems. • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and platforms, including OpenAI API, AWS Bedrock, LangChain, and Semantic Kernel. • Experience with AI model development, fine-tuning, deployment, and MLOps practices using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face. • Strong understanding of machine learning principles, prompt engineering, and AI inference optimization. • Knowledge of financial services applications, including risk assessment and AI-driven process automation. • Leadership skills with the ability to drive AI strategy at scale and mentor a technical team. • Competitive salary range of $191,000 - $222,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses and equity. • Flexible remote working options. • Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage. • Retirement savings plans with an immediate company match. • Paid parental leave and family-building benefits. • Opportunities for professional growth and development. • Work in a collaborative, innovative environment with a focus on technical excellence.
