As a member of the clinical strategy team, the Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for various projects to support assigned clients including but not limited to, clinical research, data analysis, content development and resource maintenance in support of health plan clients. The Clinical Pharmacist will be an integral part of the client account team and work closely with SCSL, AE/AM and BD leads.Job Description• Job Description• Support the Medical Pharmacy team in developing and producing pipeline, forecasting, trend, strategy, and Medical Pharmacy program specific materials for health plan clients.• Support the Medical Pharmacy team in managing supportive resources for all Medical Pharmacy programs such as Fee Schedule Management, Prior Authorization, Post Service Claim Edits, Site of Service, and any additional programs.• Work with analytics team to provide business rules and develop new drug to market cost impact analyses for health plan clients.• Evaluate and identify opportunities for improved management of Medical benefit drugs through clinical research and analytics that improve medical cost savings and provide clinical quality initiatives.• Actively work to support preparation and delivery of reporting and quarterly meeting materials.• Work internally to support client requests and issue resolution as part of the account team• Support the development and production of Medical Pharmacy Trend Report.• Support the development, production, and monitoring of Specialty Pharmacy Pipeline Report.• Communicate and collaborate effectively with all internal stakeholders.• Other Requirements• At least 1-3 years of pharmacy, managed care and/or pharmaceutical industry experience• Managed Care Pharmacy Residency experience preferred.• Requires a functional level understanding of the pharmacy industry including health plan/PBM relationship and drugs paid for on the medical vs. pharmacy benefit.• Strong interpersonal, consultation, organizational, tracking and follow-up skills.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Data review and interpretation skills required.• Must possess RPh or PharmD license in good standing.ResponsibilitiesLicense must be current and in good standing.Strong drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge.Work ExperienceWork Experience – Required:PharmacyWork Experience – Preferred:EducationEducation – Required:Bachelors – PharmacyEducation – Preferred:PharmD – PharmacyCertificationsCertifications – Required:RPH – Registered Pharmacist – Pharmacy – PharmacyCertifications – Preferred:PharmD – Doctor Of Pharmacy, State Licensure – Pharmacy – PharmacyTo review our Benefits, Incentives and Additional Compensation, visit our Benefits Page ( and click on the “Benefits at a glance” button for more detail.Prime Therapeutics LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
