StarTech.com is looking for a Pricing Manager – Channel Strategy to lead the development and execution of our global omni-channel pricing strategy.In this high-impact role, you will ensure our pricing reflects our brand value, supports revenue growth, and aligns with corporate profitability goals. You’ll collaborate across departments and regions to drive pricing excellence and support our global channel partners.What you will be responsible for:Competitive Benchmarking: Stay informed on industry pricing trends, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to continuously refine our pricing approach. Conduct thorough competitive analysis to understand pricing positions relative to key competitors across regions and product lines. Provide strategic pricing recommendations based on market-based pricing opportunities, ensuring alignment with our competitive brand positioning and value proposition. Channel Pricing Strategies Development and Implementation: Formulate pricing strategies that reflect brand value and market positioning across global distribution and reseller channels relative to brand competitors. Manage and maintain end-user target pricing across major global partners.Margin Stack Analysis: Analyze global channel margin structures—including distribution, resellers, Amazon Marketplace, and direct eCommerce.Provide actionable recommendations on margin improvement opportunities, including identifying issues and opportunities related to product cost structures, channel margin inefficiencies, and other drivers impacting product profitability. Profitability Optimization: Monitor and manage channel pricing to ensure alignment with corporate margin targets while supporting revenue growth. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams in pricing analytics, product management, finance (pricing operations), merchandizing and regional sales leaders to ensure pricing strategies are data-driven, consistent, and executable. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on pricing effectiveness, channel performance, and transaction volumes to identify trends and make strategic adjustments. Pricing tools and process DevelopmentHelp to formalize and document pricing policies and accountabilities to ensure pricing strategies are properly executable. Evaluate & participate in assessing, designing and implementing potential pricing tools to help scale and effectively manage market price points. Essential Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, or strategic planning, preferably in a global B2B or technology environment. Proven experience with channel pricing and margin analysis. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. Proficiency in pricing tools, ERP systems, and Excel.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across levels and regions. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
