Pricing Analyst - Fair Access Banking

About the position The Pricing Analyst – Fair Access Banking is responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining pricing strategies that promote equitable access to financial products while ensuring profitability, regulatory compliance, and risk discipline. This role sits at the intersection of finance, analytics, compliance, and social responsibility, supporting the bank’s commitment to fair, transparent, and inclusive pricing practices. Responsibilities • Design, evaluate, and optimize pricing models for retail and commercial banking products (e.g., loans, deposits, fees) with a focus on fair access and affordability. • Conduct profitability, elasticity, and scenario analyses to balance revenue objectives with consumer impact. • Monitor pricing performance and recommend adjustments based on market conditions, risk profiles, and regulatory considerations. • Ensure pricing practices align with fair lending laws, UDAAP standards, and internal fair access banking policies. • Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to assess pricing for disparate impact and fairness across customer segments. • Support regulatory exams, audits, and internal reviews related to pricing and consumer fairness. • Build and maintain advanced financial models to assess product margins, cost of funds, credit risk, and capital implications. • Prepare executive-level reporting and insights on pricing effectiveness, equity outcomes, and financial performance. • Validate pricing assumptions and methodologies using robust accounting and financial controls. • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Risk, Technology, and Data teams to implement pricing changes. • Provide data-driven guidance to support new product development and expansion of fair access initiatives. • Translate complex financial analyses into clear recommendations for senior leadership. • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Requirements • Twelve plus years of banking, Fintech or financial sales experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Business Management, Finance, Banking or related field. • CVP and CPA required. • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. • Strong communication skills to develop good working relationships and to promote cooperation and compromise among various departments. • Display the ability to research and comprehend a high level of knowledge in current and developing regulations. • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationship at all levels by proactively participating and contributing to a positive work environment, controlling emotions and temperament, and exhibiting courteous, respectful, and professional behavior. • Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments, processes, and technologies. Technological ability and willingness to work remotely from home as required. • Strong organizational skills. • Ability to maintain composure under pressure or adverse circumstances, using effective strategies for managing personal stress. • Ability to maintain personal and work direction when faced with ambiguity.
