About the Role

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to premium clientele? In this pivotal role, you will be the face of arenaflex to our most valued Card Members, serving as a brand ambassador and the first point of contact in our exclusive lounge environment. You'll work as part of a cohesive team, energizing our members and delivering on our brand promise. Our Member Services Professionals are highly skilled and motivated individuals who provide travel, card, concierge, and lifestyle services to arenaflex Card Members.

As a Member Services Specialist, you will act as an expert, fitting our products and services to help Card Members with their local needs and extend their relationship with arenaflex. It's our mission to become indispensable for our Card Members by providing distinctive products and services. We must create enrollment opportunities every day, and our specialists make this happen through dedication, empathy, and proactive service.

Key Responsibilities

As a Member Services Professional at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:


Warm Welcome & Access: Greeting and providing access to our Card Members upon their arrival at the lounge, ensuring a seamless and luxurious entry experience
End-to-End Ownership: Being accountable and taking ownership of the member's experience from start to finish, ensuring every interaction exceeds expectations
Problem Resolution: Creating innovative ways to resolve members' issues or concerns to win their brand loyalty, ultimately turning members into passionate advocates
Member-First Approach: Using the Member's First philosophy in addressing clients' needs and expectations, always prioritizing their satisfaction
Concierge Services: Providing concierge and lifestyle recommendations tailored to individual member preferences and needs
Travel Assistance: Offering travel advice and minor reservation assistance to help members with their travel plans
Partnership Coordination: Accommodating the needs of our Card Members by collaborating with our food and beverage lounge partners to ensure exceptional service
Brand Representation: Acting as a professional ambassador of arenaflex, maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation
Product Knowledge: Staying informed about arenaflex products and services to effectively recommend solutions that meet member needs
Feedback Collection: Gathering member feedback and suggestions to contribute to continuous improvement of our services


Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:


Minimum 1 Year of Recent Premium Client Experience: Prior experience in a customer-facing role handling high-end clientele is required
Industry Background: Carrier, lounge, or travel industry experience is required, including reservation system experience
Client-Centric Mindset: A passion for matching clients with proactive solutions and anticipating their needs before they ask
Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal abilities that charm and engage the member with every interaction
Active Listening: The ability to listen to member needs and subsequently propose appropriate recommendations, resulting in high satisfaction
Professionalism: Must display the highest level of professionalism and maintain a positive attitude in all interactions
Team Collaboration: The ability to rely on and work collaboratively with colleagues is essential, as the lounge is a very dynamic, fast-paced, team environment
Quick Decision-Making: Ability to make decisions quickly and effectively when unexpected circumstances arise, putting the Card Members' experience at the forefront
Technical Proficiency: Must be tech-savvy and capable of using the web and various technology platforms with ease
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to an always-changing environment and be resilient under pressure
Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential
Physical Requirements: Light to moderate lifting may be required for certain work tasks


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:


Previous experience in exclusive airport lounge environments or premium hospitality settings
Concierge certification or relevant hospitality training
Multilingual capabilities, especially Spanish or other common languages spoken in the Houston area
Advanced knowledge of travel booking systems and global distribution systems (GDS)
Experience with loyalty programs in the premium financial services sector
Knowledge of luxury brands and high-end service standards
