Premium Audit Quality Assurance Analyst

This role is responsible for evaluating audit work to ensure adherence to established procedures and standards, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in audit outcomes while collaborating with internal teams.ResponsibilitiesReviews audit processes and outcomes for various policy types and methodsMaintains accurate records of audit review outcomesFollows defined audit review processes for conducting quality reviews and provides direct feedback from audit reviews to auditors to correct audits to established standards for accuracyDocuments audit differences based on review findings of internal auditing procedures as well as NCCI, independent state bureaus, and other applicable regulatory standardsUtilizes secure digital platforms and remote communication tools to conduct quality reviews ensuring efficiency and accuracy while minimizing disruption to the enterpriseManages quality assurance reviews across department regionsEnsures the consistent use of current applicable classification codes, and departmental procedures by monitoring their use and identifying any deficienciesValidates correct classification of exposures in accordance with regulatory agencies, independent state bureaus, and company procedures by reviewing records and other relevant documentation—often through secure digital exchangeCommunicates findings clearly and professionally to auditors and management including basic analysis of identified deficienciesReduces quality related errors by making recommendations to increase the efficiency of audits, and related operational processesProvides technical guidance, procedural guidance and mentorship to less experienced team membersStays current with manual rules, industry trends, and understanding of the impact of underwriting endorsementsPerforms other functionally related duties as assignedSkillsMinimum 1 year experience in premium audit or audit reviewBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline OR equivalent experienceExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent Excel skills are requiredStrong, analytical, and critical thinking skills, excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities, effective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentAssociates in Premium Audit Program (APA) certification preferred OR working towards APA certification2 years' experience in premium audit or audit reviewBenefitsMedical & Dental PlansLife Insurance, including eligible spouses & childrenHealth Care Flexible SpendingDependent Care401k Savings PlansPaid Time OffCompany OverviewAmTrust Financial Services, Inc., through its subsidiaries, operates as a multinational property and casualty insurance company.
